Cheryl K. Graham
Recently listed as one of the Top Divorce Lawyers by
the Washingtonian Magazine, and listed as one of the Ten
Leaders of Greater Washington, D.C. (Age 45 & Under)
Matrimonial & Divorce Attorneys, Cheryl K. Graham is a
co-founder and the managing partner of the firm. She is
a Graduate of George Mason University (B.A., 1989) and
the Catholic University of America, Columbus School of
Law (Juris Doctor, 1992). She is admitted to practice
law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Mrs. Graham has practiced in Northern Virginia since
1992, focusing on the area of domestic relations and
family law. Mrs. Graham serves not only as an
experienced trial attorney, but also as a superior
negotiator, having an excellent reputation for her
civility, professionalism, and thoughtfulness. Mrs.
Graham has particular interest in assisting her clients
in settling their marital disputes through efficient and
effective negotiations. Accordingly, she serves as a
Mediator and works with Collaborative Divorce.
Mrs. Graham’s practice includes all aspects of family
matters, i.e., equitable distribution of property,
including the complex division and valuation of closely
held corporations, stock options and financial
investments; child custody and visitation; child and
spousal support; negotiating and drafting Marital and
Pre-Marital Settlement Agreements and step-parent
adoptions. Mrs. Graham’s practice includes litigation at
both the trial level in the jurisdictions of Loudoun
County, Fairfax County, Arlington County, Fauquier
County and Prince William County, as well as appellate
work in the Court of Appeals of Virginia. Ms. Graham
frequently serves as a mediator and works with
Collaborative Divorce.
Mrs. Graham has served as a Guardian Ad Litem for the
Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Courts in
Loudoun, Fairfax and Arlington Counties for many years.
Mrs. Graham has also lectured and written articles on
the area of family law; volunteered through the local
bar associations; was appointed as a Virginia
State Bar Young Lawyers Circuit Representative for the
Twentieth Circuit (Loudoun, Fauquier and Rappahannock);
and served on multiple committees of the Fairfax County
Bar Association. Ms. Graham is a native of Northern
Virginia and an active member of her community. She is
married and has three children.
